When I got this mobile phone, the first thing I noticed was the fancy big packing. iBall Shaan or lets say all iBall mobile handsets come in a big red colored box which is quite fancy and flashy. On each side of the box something different about the mobile handset or the company is written. Quite innovative I must say!

The Good: If you hold the handset the touch and feel of it is quite soft, that is, the handset has a polished back and feels good. The over all look of this phone is stylish and cool.

The Bad: The keypad could have been improvised. In a cost of Rupees 2,499 I expected a better screen and the keypad.

iBall Shaan S-306 mobile is a dual SIM GSM phone with basic multimedia needs such as camera, zoom, games, Bluetooth and file manager. It is usually available in two colors that are black-blue and black-red. The motto of this mobile phone is to let you call everyone and anyone. iBall mobile company proudly states that this is a phone to be taken pride in, "Let your emotions out and let them out SHAAN SE!"

The handset is enriched with a dedicated MP3 player key on the keypad which is quite interesting. The moment you press the key you are taken to the audio player of the mobile that lets you play almost all kind of audio formats.

The phone has 4.6cm of colorful display and LED torch on the upper side. It has built in FM radio which can be brought to use by inserting 3.5mm in ear-ear phone jack. SMS is provided in both English as well as Hindi language.

It has a 1.3 MP built in camera with the facility to digital zoom a bit. There are a bunch of wallpapers and screen saver to be changed which are pre installed. It has advanced mobile tracker and the facility to black list a phone number.

You can choose to expand the usual 494 KB memory up to 4 GB. A USB charger comes with this cell phone, so you can charge your mobile phone while working on the laptop. I find USB chargers very useful as they let you use the time while working also.

Along with all these features the mobile handset boasts of a built in web browser also which enables the user to do basic internet surfing. Some add on features like e book reader, voice morphing, multiparty conference, caller ID with photo and many more are also present in the handset.

I found the performance to be fine. You can listen to music while browsing the internet. So, if you ask me if the phone is worth the money then I guess yes it is. Look at the latest features this cell phone is providing along with the great look and feel. Being a standard company and a warranty period you as a consumer can trust the brand and be assured that the phone will perform what it has promised.
